ALPHA2 was an attempt to emulate the Jasper Johns alphabet painting from the fifties. The backing for this picture was in fact the original painting, scanned in and manipulated in PhotoShop. The letters were layered on afterwards, having been produced separately. The scratch effect on the lettering was made using repeated mezzotint (long stroke) in PhotoShop. |

DAISY3 was a commissioned work based on a photograph of a field of sunflowers. The entire picture was produced in PaintShopPro, using some of the PhotoShop plug-ins (particularly Plastic Wrap).
FRAME3 began life as a tiny picture of a tractor and combine harvester working side by side as night fell. This was chopped up, cut and pasted and generally buggered about with until the final effect (Antimatter) changed the whole feel of it in one go. A personal favourite.
KEY - Very simple, very effective and very pleasing. A random photograph, spun, tiled and run through Threshold. Although made in PhotoShop, this could have been done in any art package.
Very obviously an earlier relative of KEY, POTT was so interesting that it had to be kept. A series of random tilings and colour spins seemed to produce this textured effect that is almost impossible to create when you're really trying. Go on, try.
You can write your own comments about the rest because I've run out of things to say. They were all produced in PhotoShop, if that's any help.
WALKER began life as a frame from a BJORK video, etc, etc...
